Bastille have a faithful following in video for “Blame”

Bastille are most well known for their pop hit “Pompeii,” but the band isn’t just a one hit wonder. In September they released their second album, Wild World, which is a strong indie rock outing. Today the band released a heady video for their single, “Blame,” off said album.

The video begins with the quote “What can everyone do? Praise and blame. This is human virtue, this is human madness.” Pretty deep stuff. What follows is a look into the lives of people who appear to be members of a cult centered around the disembodied lips of the band. We see the members participating in raves and having the effects of their membership bleed into their everyday lives. It’s beautifully shot and will definitely make most viewers want to rewatch to unravel everything.
