Regina Spektor shares heartwarming video for “Bleeding Heart”

When Regina Spektor first announced her latest release, Remember Us To Life, album opener “Bleeding Heart” was the song that accompanied the news. It’s been a few months since that first reveal, and there have been a number of music videos from the album. Today, “Bleeding Heart” joins the ranks of absolutely perfect Spektor videos (via NPR).

The video begins with Spektor in a cartoon world, evoking the recent video for “Small Bill$” that is similar in style. However, “Bleeding Heart” is much more intimate, splicing in photos and video of Spektor as a child. For a song as tender as “Bleeding Heart,” the video works perfectly, and it’s great to see Spektor get to share so many warm memories with the world.

If you haven’t listened to Remember Us To Life yet, we cannot recommend it highly enough. Watch the video for “Bleeding Heart” down below for some extra convincing.
