Foxing‘s song “Indica” is a long, slow, melancholy song. We absolutely adore it. While the album the song comes from, Dealer, is almost a year old, today the band released a music video for the track. We dare you to not get at least a little emotional watching it.
The video follows the highs and lows of your average suburban couple. The twist is that a man is observing them on a set of old-school VCRs and televisions, seemingly unbeknownst to them. After a bit it becomes apparent that their observer has become attached to the family. Over the course of almost seven minutes, this relationship is fleshed out and explored masterfully, making this one of our favorite videos of the year.
You can watch the music video for “Indica” down below. Dealer is a great album, and we highly encourage you to check it out if you haven’t already. You can buy the album right now on iTunes.
