Phantogram have an album out today. It’s called Three, and it’s pretty dang good. PUP released an album earlier this year. That album is called The Dream Is Over, and it is also pretty dang good. These two facts are related because PUP went on Australian radio show triple j to cover “You Don’t Get Me High Anymore” from Phantogram’s latest release.

“You Don’t Get Me High Anymore” is a driving track with a ton of energy, and PUP perfectly captured that. It’s interesting to hear the synthetic backing of the original translated into a punk rock space using electric guitars and bass. Whether you’re a fan of the original Phantogram track, PUP’s music, or both, the cover is sure to please you.
