Mitski’s video for “A Burning Hill” is perfectly serene

Mitski released Puberty 2 back in June, and the album is definitely on our short list for one of the best albums of the year. The album closes on “A Burning Hill,” a short acoustic number that gently brings the album to an end. Today, Mitski released the music video for the track, and the visuals definitely match the song.

The video is simple but extremely well-executed, with lots of nature shots and close-ups on Mitski. The framing of the living room shots is superb, and the underwater portion of the video is especially gorgeous. The video was created by soandbrad, the creative team which consists of So Yong Kim and Bradley Rust Gray.
