New Jersey rock four-piece Toy Cars will release a brand new EP, titled Sleeping Patterns, this Friday, September 16, through both Counter Intuitive Records and Sniffling Indie Kids. Featuring members of fellow New Jersey band ROMP, Sleeping Patterns is the first full-band release from Toy Cars and we have the honor of premiering it in full today.

“This record represents a lot for us as a band and as people,” vocalist/guitarist Matteo DeBenedetti offered when asked about the album. “It’s our first full-band writing effort as a group, rather than just songs written by one person, played by a group of people. It’s a preview of what’s to come for us, and we’re already working on more new and exciting things that we can’t wait to show everyone. We’re so grateful for everyone’s continued support and stoked for the future.”

Dig in below for a five-track dose of energetic rock with hints of pop-punk, emo, and Americana all woven into a tidy little mix that should appeal to fans of everything from Moose Blood, to the Gaslight Anthem, to Arcade Fire.

If you’re hoping to snag Toy Cars’ excellent new EP in a physical format, you’re in luck. Order Sleeping Patterns on vinyl and cassette through Counter Intuitive Records and/or CD through Sniffling Indie Kids.

Below you’ll find the band’s upcoming two-week run of tour dates where they’ll be supporting Sleeping Patterns on all stops.
