Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel duel vocally on Phantogram’s “You’re Mine”

Timothy Saccenti

As the weather gets colder and we get closer to the spookiest time of the year, so too does Phantogram get closer to releasing their new album, Three, coming out next Friday, October 7 through Republic Records. In advance of the release, and with their world tour starting tonight, Phantogram released a new track from the album, called “You’re Mine.”

The song is much more of a back-and-forth than anything we’ve heard from the album up until this point, with Josh Cater and Sarah Barthel taking turns singing the verses to the song. It’s only in the chorus that the duo combine for their trademark harmonies. The video for the track features some creepy, minimalistic black and white animations that will definitely get you in the mood for October.
