PREMIERE: The Glazzies stream procrastinators anthem, “Wasting Time”

On September 16, New York guitar-and-drums rock duo the Glazzies will unleash some raw, garage-style rock ‘n’ roll on the masses with their newest album, Kill Me Kindly. Today, we have the pleasure of streaming one of the effort’s singles, titled “Wasting Time.” Listen below and let us know what you think.

Speaking to Substream about how this particular track came together, singer/guitarist Peter Landi says, “‘Wasting Time’ is a song about daydreaming procrastinators who are looking for ways to kill time. Like a lot of songs on the record, it was written very quickly. It was originally a guitar riff that I would play in between songs at practice. Those are usually my favorite songs—ones that show themselves to you and that are already there.”

If you’re like me and need some physical contact with your music, you can order Kill Me Kindly on vinyl through Old Flame Records while limited supplies last.

If you happen to be in the Brooklyn area TONIGHT, the Glazzies will be playing a FREE record release show at Baby’s All Right on Broadway. You can find all the details here.
