Geowulf hit the town in dreamy “Saltwater” music video

If you haven’t heard of Geowulf, comprised of Australians Star Kendrick and Toma Banjanin and currently in London, it’s time to start paying attention. The duo is a fantastic dream pop outfit. Luckily for you, it’s the perfect time to get into their music, as today they premiered the music video for their single “Saltwater” over at The 405.

Given the name of the song, it’s no surprise that the ocean plays heavily into the lyrical content. Kendrick’s voice has an angelic quality as she sings to listeners, “Come to the ocean, even when you’re broken.” With sonic flourishes and twirls that will make you want to move, and some MGMT-style synthetic droning, it’s a fun song to ease us into fall. The video finds Kendrick and Banjanin exploring the city. Whether the activity is playing billiards, eating a slice of pizza, or just dancing, the duo appear to be having a blast. The footage has a “home video” vibe to it that makes it feel even more inviting and cozy.
