There is never a bad time to listen to the Menzingers. Whether you’re waiting for your wedding day to begin or mourning the loss of someone you loved, the Menzingers always have a knack for emotionally-driven songwriting that pairs exquisitely well with the modern human experience. Their latest offering, a single titled “Lookers” that premiered on Noisey earlier today, is no exception.

Believed to be the product of the band’s recently completed fifth studio album, “Lookers” is a sentimental song that finds guitarist Greg Barnett looking at an old photo of himself with someone. As he takes in the image he’s reminded of his youth and the way it felt to be alive at that time. Soon that memory turns into a longing for a way things once were, and it’s in the depiction of his desire to return to that era that the magic of “Lookers” makes itself known. Take a listen:

Again, it is unclear at this time whether or not “Lookers” will appear on the Menzingers’ upcoming studio album.

The Menzingers are hitting the road this month as direct support for Bayside on the band’s nationwide album release tour. Sorority Noise is also on the bill. A complete list of tour dates can be found below:
