It’s always thrilling when a band announces a new album, but thrilling might be underselling this news. Today, Taking Back Sunday announced (via EW) that Tidal Wave, the band’s seventh album, will be arriving on September 16. The album will be the first since 2014’s Happiness Is, and will be released through Hopeless Records.
Talking about what to expect from the new album, frontman Adam Lazarra says, “Tidal Wave is a bit of a departure but I don’t think it’s coming out of left field. We realize anything we do is going to sound like Taking Back Sunday.”
