New York fuzz-rock trio Jackal Onasis continue to assert their love for the short-lived, cult favorite Starz series Party Down not only in their moniker but in the entirety of their new seven-track release as well. Big Deal Party gathers inspiration from the Adam Scott and Ken Marino-starring comedy series and pairs it with spaced-out shoegaze bliss, bedroom-pop dual vocals, and fuzzy, garage-ready guitars.

Born out of unabating boredom and what some might consider an addiction to television, Jackal Onasis began as a remedy of sorts; a coast to coast demo exchange eventually resulting in a cross-country relocation and a yearned-for evolution as a band in the flesh. The most recent product of this drive and determination can be streamed in full below.

Pre-orders for the album on limited edition cassette are available through Exploding In Sound ahead of its official release on June 24. Jackal Onasis will have an actual Big Deal Party to celebrate the release in Brooklyn, NY tomorrow, June 21, at Shea Stadium with Washer, Bethlehem Steel, Stringer, and Hank May. Details for the event are available here.
