After a twelve-year gap between releases, Descendents will finally return to reclaim the pop-punk throne this summer with their long-awaited seventh studio album, Hypercaffium Spazzinate. Check out the first taste of the new record, “Victim Of Me,” below. Descendents didn’t want to grow up and the new song reflects that in the best way possible, as they’ve barely skipped a beat in their time off.
Hypercaffium Spazziante is the band’s first full-length record since 2004’s Cool To Be You. The record features the band’s classic lineup of Milo Aukerman, Bill Stevenson, Stephen Egerton, and Karl Alvarez, and releases on July 29 via Epitaph Records. Like the song? Pre-order here. Descendents will take the stage this summer at the Punk Rock Bowling festival as a headlining act in Asbury Park.
