We all know anniversary tours are all the rage for musicians these days, but that doesn’t make it any less exciting when a band as awesome as the Hold Steady announces they will celebrate an album as iconic as 2006’s Boys & Girls In America on the road this fall—and they’ll be doing it with keyboardist Franz Nicolay, who has not played with the band since 2010 and played a huge role in making B&GIA as memorable as it is.

“Our Boys & Girls In America album turns 10 this year and we are very excited!” the band writes. “We will be playing a limited number of live shows this fall to celebrate. Our old friend Franz Nicolay will be joining us.”

In addition, the band has announced that their first two albums, Almost Killed Me and Separation Sunday, will finally get vinyl reissues later this year via Frenchkiss Records.

Dates for the Hold Steady’s Boys & Girls In America tour will be released May 18; in the meantime, press “play” and crank it up:
