Vinnie Caruana is a wearer of many hats in the music industry. To many, he’s the innovative vocalist behind legendary Long Island punk outfit the Movielife; to others, he’s also the frontman for the excitable post-hardcore act I Am The Avalanche. However, one role that Caruana hopes to step in this coming May is one of a solo artist.

The artist will make his full-length solo debut with Survivor’s Guilt, out on May 27 on Equal Vision Records in the U.S. and Big Scary Monsters in the U.K. I Am The Avalanche’s Kellen Robson and Brett Romnes filled out the record’s backing band, and Rx Bandits’ Steve Choi contributed expanded instrumentation to the album

“I found what I love to do long ago,” says Vinnie Caruana. “Writing, recording and performing music, traveling, and making friends and memories. I don’t think I’d truly be happy doing anything else. When you look at it that way, what else is really important than to be happy with your life and how you choose to live it.”

You can find a track listing and album artwork for the album below.
