The band with the longest name in the history of emo played a nearly sold out show in Paris on February 5. The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die brought mewithoutYou on a co-headline tour in Europe. Local band Pærish opened for the evening, for the joy of their many friends and family who attended to the show. Both co-headliners played a full hour show each, pleasing everyone in the venue. The crowd was diverse, ranging from from youngsters and teens to people in their 20s and 30s, all there for the same reason: their shared love of emo music, with sounds from mewithoutYou recalling some early Brand New tunes. Each time the band stopped between songs, those in the front row could hear the sweat drops fall on the guitar and pedals, making them ready for the whole night. Shortly afterward,, the World Is A Beautiful Place started, with four guitars onstage, a broken string and beer. The band supported their new album Harmlessness, and every single song was sang back the whole venue. Substream photographer Edouard Camus captured the night.
