As they took the stage at a sold-out show in New York City on Friday, February 12, the bombastic Toronto punk quartet simply known as PUP announced the name of their upcoming sophomore album: The Dream Is Over.

Coming just a few days after the band released their killer new single “DVP,” which you can stream below, the band announced via Facebook the origin of the album’s title, and its relation to vocalist Stefan Babcock’s vocal health issues.

The band also confirmed a spring release for the new record in a Facebook video, though a specific date hasn’t been released quite yet. The album will be handled by SideOneDummy Records in the U.S. and Royal Mountain Records in Canada.
