PREMIERE: Acadia teams up with Matty Arsenault of A Loss For Words for “Radiant”

When you think of Maine, you probably think of lobster, not pop-punk. Acadia is hoping to change that with the release of their brand new single, “Radiant.” The emotional pop-punk quintet, formed only last year, has already recruited A Loss For Words vocalist Matty Arsenault to back them up on the track, and hasĀ plans to release an EP featuring the song later this spring. But for now, you can enjoy the music video for “Radiant” below. Vocalist Jameson Trudel comments on the song’s inspiration:

“To me, writing is a form of therapy. ‘Radiant’ focuses on struggling with your inner demons and coming to the edge of losing it. This song follows the story of a girl fighting through depression and anxiety the only way she knows how.”

Acadia’s debutĀ EP will be out later this spring. In the meantime, follow the band on Facebook and Twitter.

Acadia has a handful of shows coming up, including a date with Four Year Strong:

2/27 – Nashua Elks Lodge – Nashua, NH w/ Under Fire, The Press War
3/16 – Port City Music Hall – Portland, ME w/ Four Year Strong, Light Years
