The Joy Formidable return with new album, U.S. tour—plus a provocative music video

The Joy Formidable

Welsh alt-rock trio the Joy Formidable has announced the impending release of their third album, Hitch, which will drop March 25 via their own label, C’Mon Lets Drift. The 12-song record was produced by the band and mixed by Alan Moulder (Nine Inch Nails, the Killers). You can view the tracklisting below, as well as the provocative music video for “The Last Thing On My Mind,” which frontwoman Ritzy Bryan describes as “a song about freedom, about feeling alive and a part of that is about sexual liberation too, which is why we wanted to make a music video from the perspective of a heterosexual female gaze. It shows men in many forms, being free, being sexy, being watched, it’s beautiful and provocative and is some small attempt to re-address the existing imbalance of perspective and nudity in music videos.”

The Joy Formidable Hitch tracklisting:
1. A Second In White
