Dirty Projectors vocalist/guitarist Amber Coffman took to Twitter last night to discuss some unwanted sexual advances made toward her from publicist in the music industry, only she took it a step further than most and actually named a name. The person? Heathcliff Berru,  currently of tastemaking PR firm Life Or Death PR. You can view some of Coffman’s tweets below:

All of the sudden, more women in the music industry came out from the shadows, publicly sharing their own experiences with Berru. Among those who came forward (or chimed in with support) were Beth Martinez of publicity firm Danger Village, Judy Miller Silverman of publicity firm Motormouth Media, Yasmine Kittles of Tearist and Bethany Cosentino [pictured above right], frontwoman of popular indie rock band Best Coast. You can see a selection of their remarks below:

Berru has yet to issue a comment, though many publications (including ours) has reached out for one. Under the Life Or Death PR banner, Berru currently represents a number of artists including Tyler The Creator, Killer Mike, HEALTH and more. Berru also manages GZA and others. He lists himself as Wavves’ publicist, but judging by this recent tweet from Wavves frontman Nathan WIlliams, that professional relationship appears to be over:
