Last month, the punk scene suffered a shocking loss with the unexpected passing of Teenage Bottlerocket drummer Brandon Carlisle. Hundreds of fans contributed to a GoFundMe account created to defray Carlisle’s funeral costs, including members of Rise Against, the Bouncing Souls and Volbeat—but at a recent show in Chicago, punk trio (and former Fat Wreck Chords labelmates) the Lawrence Arms paid tribute the best way they know how, by covering one of Teenage Bottlerocket’s most popular songs, “Stupid Games.” You can watch a video of the performance below.

Lawrence Arms frontman Brendan Kelly has a handful of acoustic shows lined up in January 2016, including a trio of East Coast gigs with Derek Grant of Alkaline Trio and a pair of Canadian dates with Chixdiggit’s KJ Jansen:
