Watch Jeremy Davis’ final show with Paramore

Hey Paramore fans: How are y’all holding up? Yesterday’s news of bassist Jeremy Davis parting ways with the band was shocking, to say the least; Davis has been a member of Paramore since its inception (save for a brief period in 2005), and he played a huge part in shaping the band’s incredible self-titled album released in 2013. We don’t know why he and the band split (the statement the band gave on their Facebook page was certainly on the vague side and allows for a ton of speculation as to whether he left the band or was asked to leave), but what we do know is that Jeremy Davis was always a joy to watch onstage throughout his decade-plus tenure in Paramore. So if you’re feeling down today, Paraholics, check out these live performance videos from Davis’ last show with the band, on May 25, 2015, in Portland, Oregon, which was coincidentally the end of the self-titled touring cycle.

It’s worth noting that at the end of “Future,” the final song of the evening, Davis is the very last member of Paramore to leave the stage, chucking his picks into the audience. Did he know at the time this was his last performance as a member of Paramore? We may never know the answer to that, but at least he was appreciative of his fans.
