Last week, the Ghost Inside was involved in a horrific bus accident which left two dead and 10 injured. Multiple people were airlifted to a local hospital in El Paso, Texas, following the collision, and it was reported that three members of the Ghost Inside were in critical condition. Now, Ghost Inside bassist Jim Riley has offered up some more information about everyone’s condition.

“I am really struggling to find words today for what the last 24 hours have brought,” he comments via the GoFundMe page created to help cover the looming medical bills from this accident. “First and foremost I would like to send my condolences to the families of the two drivers that lost their lives in the accident yesterday. I hope that their loss is not forgotten in all this tragedy. Secondly I have to say that the amount of actual assistance being provided to all of us is nothing short of overwhelming. Far beyond thoughts and prayers but actual tangible help that will go a long way in what is sure to be a lengthy recovery. At this moment everyone has family with them and they are being treated by incredible medical staff here in El Paso. I know everyone is anxious for information. It will come when it’s appropriate. For now know that everyone’s condition is stable or better and the love you are raining down during this unthinkable time is felt by the ones that need it most. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. TGI forever.”

Riley posted another update later via Facebook, saying, “The last 48 hours have seen everyone’s condition improve. We are surrounded by lots of loved ones and the vibe today is very positive. Asking again that you keep sending good juju our way and keep the families of the two drivers that lost their lives in your thoughts. It will be a few more days before we share any individual details. If you’ve seen any of the pictures that are floating around you know the serious nature of the situation and hope you understand the need for a little privacy and discretion. The doctors here are phenomenal and we are in the most capable of hands. Thank you thank you thank you for the love and support. Life is swinging hard. We are swinging harder.”

While information is still scarce on what exactly happened to each person in the accident, we can confirm that Ghost Inside merch manager Danny Luppino broke his leg and his pelvis in the accident and has already had a rod and screws surgically installed into his leg.

We wish everyone in the Ghost Inside and their crew the speediest of recoveries and encourage you to donate to their GoFundMe account.
