Following last week’s terrible news of Teenage Bottlerocket drummer Brandon Carlisle falling into a coma, things took a turn for the worse, and his family decided to take him off life support. Now, the band is inviting all friends and fans of Carlisle and Teenage Bottlerocket to join them this Saturday, November 14, for Brandon Carlisle’s funeral as well as a party to commemorate his life. The funeral will take place at Timberline Church in Fort Collins, Colorado, at 10:30 a.m. Following the funeral, Carlisle’s body will be transported an hour north to Green Hill Cemetery in Laramie, Wyoming, where he will be buried at 2 p.m. The band stresses that the funeral and burial are open to the public and that “you don’t have to dress up… Brandon would want it that way.”

For those who would like to gather with like-minded friends and share memories of Brandon Carlisle’s life, there will be an all-ages party at the Hilton Garden Inn Ballroom in Laramie from 4-10 p.m., with complimentary food and drinks (“including five kegs,” the band says). Once again, this event is open to all, and no formal attire is required.

Substream once again sends out its deepest condolences to the family, friends and fans of Brandon Carlisle. Please consider donating to a GoFundMe account set up in his name that will help cover the costs of his medical and funeral bills.
