Jack’s Mannequin to reunite for ‘Everything In Transit’ 10th anniversary tour

Andrew McMahon Promo 2014

While Andrew McMahon has been plenty busy with his newest project, Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness, he is carving out a sliver of time in his life to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Everything In Transit, the debut LP from his former band Jack’s Mannequin. The tour’s warmup show will be on New Year’s Eve in Anaheim, California, with the celebration kicking off in earnest on January 20 and taking McMahon and his band—guitarist, Bobby “Raw” Anderson, bassist Mikey “The Kid” Wagner and durmmer Jay McMillan—across the country for two weeks. McMahon explains the reasoning behind this Jack’s Mannequin tour:

“I will be the first to admit, I prefer keeping my focus in the present, but I cannot deny Transit’s place in my life and the lives of my fans. Even as I announce these shows I know there will be disappointment over the fact this will not be a full tour. To those of you in markets we are not playing, please know we picked the routing that allowed us to play the most shows in the short time that was available. As I said so many years ago, this is a story, and it will be performed as such, in its original running order from start to finish.”
