Up-and-coming post-hardcore troupe Pyro, Ohio is ready to unleash their new album, Keepsakes, onto the world. But it’s not just empty aggression like so many other bands in their scene: As you’ll see in “The Truest Reflection,” Pyro, Ohio actually carries an emotional, motivational message in their songs. Frontman Peter Verity explains:
“This is the most personal song we’ve ever written. These words relate to anyone who has been there for me in my life. This truly came to light earlier this year when I lost two people who played a huge part in helping me become who I am today and loved me unconditionally. I want whoever hears this song to think about the people who have and always will be there for them—because when you take a step back and think, it’s an amazing feeling to know you’ve had them in your life.”
Pyro, Ohio’s Keepsakes will be released November 13 and can be pre-ordered here.
