The School of Music at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, has a marching band called the Green Machine that has an obsession with Rage Against The Machine. They’ve been playing a mash-up of Rage Against The Machine’s “Killing In The Name” and “Bulls On Parade” since 2010.
The Green Machine is directed by Dr. Michael Nickens who you can watch directing a practice here. Dr. Nickens started directing the marching band in 2006 and has made his mark by incorporating modern rock music into his arranements. You can find out more about the director here.
