If you name your band “fucking” anything, odds are you’re not in the music biz for the fame and fortune. That doesn’t mean the music you’re making is any less vital, however, as proven by Fucking Werewolf Asso‘s new album, Why Do You Love Me Satan?, released by Shelby Cinca of Frodus’ new label, Swedish Columbia. The band—who, like all artists on the label, is from Sweden—plays a brand of spazzcore that calls to mind the early albums of the Blood Brothers alongside the Faint’s Blank-Wave Arcade, Death From Above 1979’s You’re A Woman, I’m A Machine and any host of Gravity Records releases from the late ’90s. If we were typing in emojis, we’d use that fire one about 12 times in a row.

Today, we’re premiering Fucking Werewolf Asso’s music video for “The Tito Beltrán Massacre,” a song seemingly inspired by the Chilean-Swedish opera singer who in 2008 was convicted of raping an 18-year-old woman and sexually molesting a 7-year-old girl and then, after serving a short prison sentence, managed to land a gig hosting the Chilean version of X Factor. Good to know the entertainment industry has literally zero scruples! Anyway, enjoy this creepy-ass video from a totally sweet band.

Fucking Werewolf Asso’s Why Do You Love Me Satan? is available now on Swedish Columbia.
