Face To Face reunites with Fat Wreck Chords, new album in 2016

Californian band Face To Face have signed to Fat Wreck Chords, which is the same record label that released the band’s debut album, Don’t Turn Away, more than 20 years ago, in 1992.

Face To Face’s lead singer, Trever Keith, says in a press release, “Returning to Fat Wreck Chords for us is a homecoming. After 8 records on almost as many labels throughout our career, we’ve definitely been through some of the worst and best of this business. The fact that after 25 years FAT is still going strong, is a testament to their commitment they have to their artists. We are excited about working with people who truly understand what we do and who we are.”

According to Fat Wreck Chords’ co-owner, Fat Mike, Face To Face is making good on their original contract by creating two full-lengths within 25 years. (But, given the source, we can’t verify the validity of his remarks.)

The band is heading to Colorado for a month to record with Bill Stevenson (Descendents) and Jason Livermore at the Blasting Room. Face To Face’s ninth album is expected to be released next year. But until then, let’s all reminisce with the band’s classic track “Disconnected”:
