You know, there are bands that say they love their fans, and then there are bands that actually mean it—and Boysetsfire is clearly in that latter category. The long-running post-hardcore quintet [we used to call ’em “emocore” back in the ’90s —old-guy ed.] has announced their new, self-titled album will be released worldwide on September 25, via Bridge Nine Records in North America and End Hits Records in Europe. But instead of partnering up with a magazine or website (ahem) to premiere their first track, the band selected one BSF fan at random to do the honors.
