Boysetsfire releases brand new song via fan’s Facebook page

You know, there are bands that say they love their fans, and then there are bands that actually mean it—and Boysetsfire is clearly in that latter category. The long-running post-hardcore quintet [we used to call ’em “emocore” back in the ’90s —old-guy ed.] has announced their new, self-titled album will be released worldwide on September 25, via Bridge Nine Records in North America and End Hits Records in Europe. But instead of partnering up with a magazine or website (ahem) to premiere their first track, the band selected one BSF fan at random to do the honors. Meet Marcel Geminn, from Egelsbach, Germany: He debuted BSF’s new song “Cutting Room Floor,” which you can hear below. Way to go, Marcel. and good on ya, Boysetsfire!
