PREMIERE: Get wistful (and possibly motion sick) with Such A Mess’ “Tether” lyric video

2515

When you ask someone to name a punk band from Los Angeles, odds are they’d go to one of the classics like Bad Religion or the Germs—but in recent years, LA has become a haven for kinder, gentler punk rock, as evidenced by Such A Mess. The band draws from modern pop-punk like the Wonder Years or Man Overboard but has expanded their sound on their new split EP with Post Season, Greetings From, to include inklings of the emo revival—basically, if you dig Transit’s Listen & Forgive, this will be right up your alley. Today, we’re premiering the lyric video for Such A Mess’ brand new song “Tether,” which you can find below. Greetings From will be released August 28 via Common Ground Records and can be pre-ordered here.
