PREMIERE: Florida indie rockers Supros get gritty and dancey in “Punctual Love” music video

Imagine, for a second, a band that’s a cross between Young The Giant and the 1975 with a hint of Passion Pit and a sprinkle of Cold War Kids for good measure. It’s dancey and synth-assisted but not just empty pop calories—the lyrics actually mean something to the listener while at the same time meaning everything to the singer. Congratulations: You’ve successfully conjured up Cape Coral, Florida, indie rockers Supros. And today, we’re thrilled to bring you the premiere of the music video for their brand new single “Punctual Love.” The band explains the story behind the song:

“Life is unavoidable, and she’s always punctual. ‘Punctual Love’ is an anthem to the reckless pursuit of the heart’s deepest desire.”

Since “Punctual Love” is a brand new track, it’s unfortunately not on the band’s 2014 EP, Hush. However, we think you should just go ahead and buy it anyway, okay?

Supros have a smattering of Florida gigs on the docket, including a trio of shows with WIlder Sons and Lions After Dark:

Jul 23 Dunedin Brewery Dunedin, FL (w/Wilder Sons, Lions After Dark)
Jul 24 Orbit 19 Lounge Holiday, FL (w/Wilder Sons, Lions After Dark)
Jul 25 Belle Isle Yacht Pub Orlando, FL (w/Wilder Sons, Lions After Dark)
Aug 29 The Ritz Ybor Tampa, FL (w/Mighty Mongo, Rising Down, Dropin Pickup)
