Jimmy Eat World frontman Jim Adkins to release singles series featuring Beck and Cyndi Lauper covers

We first brought you news of Jimmy Eat World frontman Jim Adkins embarking on a solo tour of some pretty remote areas of America. If you’ve attended one of those shows, you’d know that not only is he playing a healthy mixture of JEW classics and rarities, he is also peppering each set with original solo material as well as some interesting cover choices. Now, he’s preparing to release those songs—both the originals and some of the covers—via a six-week digital singles series that will be bookended with three 7-inches compiling all the material. Here is how it all breaks down:
