When Riot Fest dropped their initial lineups for Chicago, Denver and Toronto a few weeks ago, the internet exploded as it is wont to do—and speculation ran rampant as to what bands the numerous question marks on the lineup graphics represented. Well now, we have the answer for Denver: RF organizers have confirmed the addition of System Of A Down, the Prodigy, Death Grips, Chef’Special and Input & Broken, as well as a reunion set from Chicago punk band 88 Fingers Louie [pictured], half of whom (guitarist Dan Wleklinski and bassist Joe Principe) went on to form Rise Against and who also at one time featured drummer Glenn Porter, later of Alkaline Trio. (However, Porter and Principe are not a part of the reunion show.) These bands are added to an already stacked bill that features Modest Mouse, Pixies, Snoop Dogg, Iggy Pop, Tenacious D, Rancid and more that takes place Aug. 28-30 at National Western Complex.
Tickets to Riot Fest Denver start at $99.98 and are available here.
