No Use For A Name will reunite to pay tribute to Tony Sly at Fat Wreck Chords 25th anniversary festival

First, Fat Wreck Chords announced a massive summer tour starring NOFX, Lagwagon, Masked Intruder and others in celebration of their 25th year of somehow managing to stay in business. Then, they laid out the details of the blowout at the end of said tour: a two-day festival taking place in San Francisco August 22-23 and featuring all of the aforementioned bands plus alumni like Propagandhi, Tilt, Bracket and more. But if you still needed more convincing, the label announced a truly special set scheduled for the second day of Fat Wreck 25. Labeled No Use And Friends, the set will be a tribute to No Use For A Name frontman Tony Sly, who tragically and unexpectedly passed away in 2012. It will feature surviving No Use For A Name members Dave Nassie (guitar), Matt Riddle (bass) and Rory Koff (drums), who were the three longest-tenured members of the band behind Sly, as well as special guest vocalists to be announced. Single-day tickets are $45 or you can buy a two-day pass for $90.
