EXCLUSIVE: Outlands smack down a scorching slab of metalcore in ‘Grave Mind’ full-album stream

San Diego sextet Outlands deliver a thrilling dose of modern metalcore on their debut full-length, Grave Mind. You might hear a bit of Bring Me The Horizon here and a smidgen of August Burns Red there, but don’t think of Outlands as just a batch of copycats. The band turned to producer Drew Fulk (Motionless In White, the Amity Affliction) to help them create a unique, fresh take on a genre mired in soundalikes, and one listen to Grave Mind proves the pairing was clearly the right move. Vocalist James DeBerg comments:

“We are so thrilled to finally release ‘Grave Mind.’ Drew Fulk, with his extensive musical knowledge, experience in developing bands and awesome team of assistants, helped us find our own unique sound and perfectly portray the emotion and message of our music.”

Grave Mind comes out June 23 via Tragic Hero Records and can be pre-ordered here.
