Boston-based screamo band The Saddest Landscape entered Gateway Studios today to begin recording their fifth full-length with Defeater’s Jay Maas. The band have not yet revealed a release date or title, but the album will be the full-length follow-up to 2012’s After the Lights, which was released on Topshelf Records. The band also more recently released a split EP with My Fictions.

Along with the recording news, The Saddest Landscape announced they will distribute a number of random giveaways to those who sign up for the band’s mailing list at their website, and the giveaways will include test press copies and other merchandise.
