Finally, rock ’n’ roll and alcohol intersect: You can now buy a guitar amp made out of a whiskey barrel

Given the huge push for sustainability in almost every product line in recent years, we’re actually a bit surprised it took someone this long to figure out how to make an artisanal amp with recycled materials. But now we have this: an amp made out of a whiskey barrel. Called the 80 Proof Blues Junior Amplifier, this 15-watt combo amp was created by Fender and River Drive, and is limited to only 100 copies worldwide. Oh, and it’s also going to retail for $1,999.99. So there’s that.
