Cleveland-based quintet Motives peddle in a brand of hardcore that’s melodic, intense and if we’re being completely honest, fun as hell to jump around to. But the content of their music is serious business, as represented by their brand new song, “Timeless,” and the accompanying music video, directed by Vince Lundi and shot at an abandoned amusement park in northeast Ohio. Guitarist Kevin Burrows explains:
“The visual for this song really pulls out the innocence of being young and how we would all love to relive that beautiful time in our lives. This song means a lot to all of us because with all the craziness of growing up and having responsibilities, we need a reminder that it’s the little things that are more important.”
Motives’ debut LP will be out later this year on a label to be announced.
