EXCLUSIVE: After The Fall’s ‘Dedication’ is an emotionally powerful melodic-hardcore gem (full-album stream)

Albany, New York, quartet After The Fall play the type of melodic hardcore that the world sorely lacks in 2015: It’s impressively speedy and technical, with hooks aplenty and more than enough aggression to get you off of your barstool and up to the front of the stage. But their new album, Dedication, is more than just your average pit-starter; the entire album is dedicated to  fallen bandmate, which results in some seriously heavy lyrics. Frontman Mike Moak explains:

The album is our favorite so far, and it means the most to us because it’s written for and about our founding member Brian Peters who passed away from cancer on October 1, 2013. We recorded it at the Blasting Room and had Karl Alvarez (Descendents) play bass on the record. We also had back-up vocals from Chad Price and Jon Snodgrass.”

Dedication comes out May 12 via Bridge Nine Records and can be pre-ordered here.
