YouTube comedian Jarrod Alonge has made some of the funniest videos on the internet, in this writer’s humble opinion—and he’s garnered so much support online, he’s releasing his debut album, Beating A Dead Horse, on May 26. It features a variety of parody songs by all the fake bands he’s invented, such as Sunrise Skater Kids, Chewed Up And Vermicide VIolence. But the latest track he dropped, “Hey Jarrod, What’s That Song Again?” completely nukes the entire metalcore scene at large. Instead of spoiling it for you, you should just press “play” and enjoy the fact that contemporary metalcore is all more or less the exact same song. Be prepared to recognize snippets of songs from Bring Me The Horizon [pictured], A Day To Remember, Of Mice & Men, Sleeping With Sirens and Asking Alexandria, among many others, all slightly tweaked lyrically. Enjoy!
