Tom DeLonge premieres “Circle-Jerk-Pit” video featuring professional skateboarders

Former Blink-182 member Tom DeLonge has released a music video for “Circle-Jerk-Pit,” a song appearing on DeLonge’s solo release To the Stars… Demos, Odds and Ends, which was released today. The video depicts plenty of pool thrashing, with a number of appearances by professional skateboarders, including Billy Marks, Matt Bennett, Ryan Spencer, and Nick Merlino, with an additional appearance by amateur skateboarder Cole Wilson. DeLonge worked with skateboard companies Toy Machine, Tum Yeto, and Foundation.

To the Stars… Demos, Odds and Ends —  released under DeLonge’s new multimedia brand — is an eight-song compilation album speculated to include demos that were once intended to be used for Blink-182. DeLonge announced his departure from the band in January. Meanwhile, Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba has filled the position of co-frontman on recent Blink-182 dates.

For anyone keeping track, DeLonge is now only three albums and 15 published novels shy of fulfilling his four-year goal.

DeLonge released another video from To the Stars, “New World,” earlier this month.
