Canadian alt-rock quintet Mother Mother just released their new album, Very Good Bad Thing, on Def Jam Recordings, but where the band really shine is in their live performance—which is why we are stoked to bring you this exclusive live video of the band playing the album’s title track in front of a packed house that does a fantastic job at capturing the excitement of a Mother Mother gig. Frontman Ryan Guldemond comments on the song’s meaning:

“It is the less savory side of human nature. It’s the wedge that technology has driven between humans and the natural world. “The ‘very good bad thing’ is the person itself. We are this terrifying, yet beautiful juxtaposition of creative intelligence and self-degeneration.”
