New Netflix series ‘Bloodline’ to feature two ex-members of Thick As Blood

Who said there’s not life after punk? After Miami-based hardcore band Thick As Blood (who you might remember from their stints on Rise Records and Eulogy Recordings) broke up in 2014, vocalist Gino Vento and guitarist Randy Gonzalez began to pursue their other passion: acting. (Gonzalez even studied under Burt Reynolds. No, we’re not kidding.) The pair have both landed themselves recurring roles in the upcoming Netflix original series Bloodline, the summary of which is, “When the black sheep son of a respected family threatens to expose dark secrets from their past, sibling loyalties are put to the test.” Vento will play the role of Rafi Quintana, with Gonzalez’s character named Manny; they’ll be featured alongside such big-name actors as Kyle Chandler, Linda Cardellini and Sissy Spacek when the series launches March 20.
