New Frank Turner collection to include covers of Queen, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney

English folk-punk troubadour (and longtime personal favorite) Frank Turner has detailed his upcoming collection, The Third Three Years. The 21-track album pulls together a whole host of B-sides, rarities and previously unreleased tracks from Turner’s extensive back catalog, including covers of classic songs by Queen, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty and the Boss himself, Bruce Springsteen. (Don’t sleep on Turner’s cover of Cory Branan’s “The Corner,” however, as it takes an already perfect song and makes it even more perfect. Perfecter? Whatever.) The Third Three Years comes out digitally on March 10 and physically on April 14, both through Xtra Mile Recordings.
