Meet the 16-year-old whose record label is putting out Macaulay Culkin’s new 7-inch

Today, we bring you news of a new release for this year’s Record Store Day. It’s a new 7-inch by the Pizza Underground, a pizza-themed Velvet Underground tribute act featuring Macaulay Culkin. Yes, the kid from Home Alone. Oh, and it’s being put out by Detroit label Jett Plastic Recordings, which is run by 16-year-old Jarett Koral. No, we’re not kidding. Even crazier: Koral founded the label two years ago. Dude started putting out records when he was 14! When I was 14, I didn’t own a single record, but this kid was eBaying his collection to pay for vinyl pressing plant bills. Check out the story below, via ClickOnDetroit:
