Blur to release first album in 16 years, ‘The Magic Whip,’ this April—hear a new song now

Britpop legends Blur finally gave into the incessant reunion demands in 2009, but even with some electric live performances, fans were left disappointed in the lack of any significant amount of new material. All that changes on April 28, when the band will release The Magic Whip on Warner Bros. Records, their first album in 12 years and the first album with their original lineup in 16 years.

The album was conceived over a five-day span in at Avon Studios in Kowloon, Hong Kong in early 2013, and was completed this past November with Graham Coxon completing the music with producer Stephen Street and Damon Albarn adding lyrics.
