WATCH: The Amity Affliction – “Death’s Hand”

Aussie metalcore titans, The Amity Affliction, have released their official video for “Death’s Hand” taken from their masterful new album “LET THE OCEAN TAKE ME” – pick it up on iTunes right here. The video captures live performances from the band’s 2014 Australian headline tour and comes on the heels of the band’s recent announcement that they’ll be returning to the UK next year supporting Of Mice & Men, following their recent sold-out headline “Let The Ocean Take Me” tour.  For details click here.

Vocalist Joel Birch commented, “The tour just past has been far and away our favourite tour we have ever done in UK/Europe so we are happy to let you know we are coming back next year! We are over the moon to be touring with Of Mice & Men again, the shows are going to be insane, and it’s going to be awesome to catch up with our mates again!”

For more than a decade, The Amity Affliction has used music to entertain while simultaneously confronting the very darkest edges of man’s existence.   “SEVERED TIES,” 2008’s full-length debut, and 2010’s  follow-up “YOUNGBLOODS” instantly established the band’s twisted take, all revved-up rhythms, soaring melodies, and full-bore vocals coming together to fashion something provocative and distinct.  “LET THE OCEAN TAKE ME” follows 2012’s “CHASING GHOSTS” which debuted at #1 on the Australian ARIA Chart – the rare rock record to achieve that major milestone – and has since has been certified gold.
