Artery Recordings/Razor & Tie band Chelsea Grin will hit the road as headliner on The Ashes To Ashes Tour presented by yours truly, Substream Magazine. The tour features support of their label mates, Sworn In along with other special guests, Carnifex, Black Tongue and The Family Run. The tour will kick off on March 6th in Murray, UT and wrap up on March 28th  in Sacramento, CA (tour dates below).

Chelsea Grin’s new studio album Ashes To Ashes (released via Artery Recordings/Razor & Tie) is available now at iTunes Store HERE and MerchNow HERE. Ashes To Ashes was produced by Chelsea Grin and Diego Farias (Animals As Leaders, Volumes, Stray From The Path).   The Salt Lake City, UT based metal band have transformed into a veritable phenomenon. Ashes to Ashes uncages a torrent of technically tight and taut metallic fury fortified by glimpses of melody and an intoxicating groove. That vision is something that Alex Koehler [vocals], Jason Richardson [lead guitar, programming], Jake Harmond [rhythm guitar], Dan Jones [rhythm guitar], David Flinn [bass], and Pablo Viveros [drums] discovered through tireless dedication to evolution since the band’s formation in 2007.

Sworn In’s debut studio album The Death Card (released via Razor & Tie) is available now at the iTunes Store HERE (http://bit.ly/TheDeathCard). The album was produced by the band and was recorded, mixed and mastered by Brian Hood (A Plea For Purging, Gideon).  The Chicago metalcore/hardcore band has previously released two EPs – Catharsis and Start/End. Sworn In recently played the Skate and Surf Festival and just wrapped a tour with For The Fallen Dreams, Hundredth, Upon This Dawning, Gideon, and Wolves At The Gate & To The Wind.  The band has previously toured with King Conquer, The Last Ten Seconds Of Life and Adaliah and have played the New England Metal Fest, Jamboree, and SXSWhat. Sworn In is Tyler Dennen (Vocals), Chris George (Drums), Zakary Gibson (Guitar) and Eugene Kamlyuk (Guitar).
