First it was a movement, and soon enough it will become a film. To Write Love On Her Arms, an organization for suicide prevention, will be telling its story in motion picture format in March, 2015.
Founder Jamie Tworkowski posted a screenshot of a letter from studio executives confirming the progress and movie details.
The film will tell the true story of Renee Yohe, played by Kat Dennings. Yohe’s drug addiction, alcohol addiction and self-harming inspired Tworkowski (to be portrayed by Chad Michael Murray) to create To Write Love On Her Arms, which stands as a prominent organization today.
